This will be a short post today, mostly because I am writing it on the morning of the 13th, having had a really busy week of pre-Christmas busy-ness -- I am lucky enough to be going on a retreat tomorrow, which has meant condensing all the usual stuff into a much shorter time, complicated by the fact that I never feel the least spark of Christmassyness until at least the 20th, probably as a legacy of years of being a teacher.
these two brighten every day for me
So this is just to say, on St Lucy's Day, I hope this season brings some light and joy to everyone who reads and supports this blog.
And off I go to write my Christmas cards/ decorate my tree/pack for my retreat/post my mini-Christmas cakes (seemed like a good idea at the time.)
