Reading this, I had one of those "Damn, I wish I'd thought of that" moments. The idea is so simple but clever. Want to know more about animals? Interview them. Find out what their likes, dislikes and habits are. It features an impressive line up of creatures including the tiger, a polar bear and a wolf. It's funny, quirky and informative all at once. The illustrations are a joy and match the tone of the book perfectly.
Written by Andy Seed and illustrated by Nick East it's a picture book for older readers. There's plenty of interesting information about conservation and habitat in there too. A fun and entertaining way to learn.

Looks a lot of fun! From what I've seen of Andy Seed's work, he certainly has found a winning approach with his varied facts and information books.
Illustrations are good and clear as well as avoiding that "nursery picture whimsy" that can put off a Year 2 or 3 reader.
Good choice, Sharon.
Hi Penny, yes I was impressed. it's a smart and quirky and will appeal to 6+ kids. As you say the illustrations also avoid the frequent cartoonish type and you can see at a glance that it's meant for slightly older kids. I do wish I'd thought of it because it could potentially run forever. :)
Thanks for the review, Sharon, much appreciated! The book was a lot of fun to write and I'm delighted with the fab pictures by Nick East. The next one in the series is Interview with a Shark (and other Ocean Giants Too), out in June, then there will be at least four more. I've had a particularly enthusiastic response from teachers and schools, who have got kids interviewing their own beasts!
