Lots that are new to me here - but I also really liked Between Shades of Grey and the one about the lighthouse in the ocean - I can never remember the name!
Am currently reading the Goldfinch, by Donna Tartt. I'm sure it's going to end really badly... Am amazed by the cleverness of the storytelling and the depth and breadth of the characterisation.
Some great reads here! One of my favourite recent YA novels is The Sky is Everywhere, by Jandy Nelson - wonderful voice and evocative story.
Sue, I've yet to read Goldfinch, but it's on my TBR pile. I loved The Light Between Oceans.
Nicky, yes I've read that too - I fell a little in love with Joe!
I read that too - I thought it was a beautifully produced book - lovely to look at as well as being a good story.
A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry is a superb and shocking book - one of those books that blow a world open. Still cross that I lent it to someone who never returned it.
Maeve, I absolutely agree! So sad your copy's gone. I only lend mine out with strict instructions to return or else!
