All you have to do is put your name, email and which book you’d like into the comments box and I’ll then do a draw for each book. No one can get more than one book. Here’s a little bit about each one to help you to decide which you’d like to go for.
STAGESTRUCK was the first in a series of books about young people attending a Fame-type stage school. It’s about love, friendship, dramas both on and off the stage and would appeal I think to anyone of about 11 or so and up. Boys and girls appear in the story, and it ought to appeal to anyone who’s ever wanted to be a STAR
LOLLY is for anyone of about 7 or so who’s fond of pets. It’s a humorous domestic story and has black and white line drawings.
A MAGIC BIRTHDAY is full colour throughout and is a gently fantastical story suitable for anyone who’s just learned to read fluently…about 6+ I’d say. It’s been out of print so long that there isn’t even a photo of the cover on Amazon!

DIDO is suitable for older children, say 14+. It tells the story of the Carthaginian queen from the point of view of a young girl who’s one of her servants. You get an entirely different perspective on the Dido and Aeneas story as told by Virgil or Nahum Tate (Purcell’s librettist.)
Jump into the comments box now for a chance to win any of these! And enjoy the other offerings in the Festival.
The competition will close on 20 July at noon (UK time).
