This is surely a case for pushing a wide spectrum of all types of genres and not just what's hot and a trend. We all need to be nourished by some book or other at different times in our lives.Dianne Hofmeyrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18222157214605257030noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7780182174577095197.post-18271170084442447362011-04-14T16:12:53.667+01:002011-04-14T16:12:53.667+01:00Isn't that interesting? It's just as well we don't all like the same books, I suppose... this one does seem to arouse extreme reactions!Sue Purkisshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09084528571944803477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7780182174577095197.post-76494701933213301672011-04-13T23:01:10.547+01:002011-04-13T23:01:10.547+01:00Sue I've been a bit slow on reading the blogs ...Sue I've been a bit slow on reading the blogs this week... I think we have quite a few books in common that we love but The Shadow in the Wind must be an all time 'hate' of mine. And I know I'm in the minority here. It's the only book I've ever dumped in a bin! I was SOOO frustrated with his writing I could've strangled him... I found it overwritten, contrived and just too too much... as my rant is here! :)Dianne Hofmeyrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18222157214605257030noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7780182174577095197.post-57755102017795978282011-04-11T15:49:08.380+01:002011-04-11T15:49:08.380+01:00See what you mean - I hadn't thought of it lik...See what you mean - I hadn't thought of it like that. Sometimes the book and the moment don't match.

Really liked this concept, though like Joan, it grieved me. Think the idea of the Cemetery feels a bit too real a horror tale for writers!Penny Dolanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16386668303428008498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7780182174577095197.post-75949490755272945952011-04-10T18:38:48.781+01:002011-04-10T18:38:48.781+01:00The Cemetery of Forgotten Books - oh!
