My brother James and I were very excited when a new one arrived - the illustrations were amazing and highly colourful, the smell factor of print and paper a great one - but we didn't understand a word of it, and my brother turned out to be quite good at science! He (as a graduate in English) recognised it for what it was and my brother and I read it with glee.
