Last month (5th August) in my ABBA post I put this wonderful quote about questions from The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde -
"You start a question, and it's like starting a stone. You sit quietly on the top of a hill; and away the stone goes, starting others; and presently some bland old bird (the last you would have thought of) is knocked on the head in his own back garden and the family have to change their name."
Powerful things, questions!Joan Lennonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15763862159032836768noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7780182174577095197.post-2191829877710381222010-08-19T20:07:52.403+01:002010-08-19T20:07:52.403+01:00Great post!

I...A very interesting post, thank you for sharing.

I have always been a people watcher and find myself not listening to my friend or partner to my side but rather I'm engrosed in why the couple opposite us are arguing. I wonder what they are arguing about and how will they resolve it.

I try to 'play a game' with my partner where we guess what people are thinking and where they are heading. I try to liven it up as much as possible to see what situations these strangers may find themselves in.

When I used to be a dancer I saw the world completely differently to everyone else. I saw dance steps and movement in everything that everyone did, may that be a simple task like crossing the street.

If you look closely enough the world is your very own theatre full of performance.

Take care
Kate Collings
xx

www.katecollings.blogspot.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7780182174577095197.post-39020586521085150732010-08-19T09:37:30.676+01:002010-08-19T09:37:30.676+01:00My day job is almost all about asking questions......My day job is almost all about asking questions...you soon learn that other people often see the world very differently from the way you do. Asking questions, asking the right questions, asking questions in the right way and in right order - it all makes a difference. The business of asking questions (and really hearing the answers) is utterly fascinating!
I liked your questions and answers!catdownunderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06959328192182156574noreply@blogger.com
