Marilyn Monroe, like Liz Taylor, is utterly stunning - and by today's standards, positively porky - but looks so much more luscious than today's twiglets.Meg Harperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07461125464455502821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7780182174577095197.post-19706271958518458652011-04-02T00:27:11.084+01:002011-04-02T00:27:11.084+01:00On another blog I found this photo of Elizabeth Ta...On another blog I found this photo of Elizabeth Taylor, which I found as wonderful as the blogger did.
http://annikabryn.blogs.se/2011/03/26/bilden-10892651/
You don't need to read it, just look at the photo.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7780182174577095197.post-72335458951939741382011-03-29T18:07:44.214+01:002011-03-29T18:07:44.214+01:00Thank you, Adele, for sharing that - good to know ...Thank you, Adele, for sharing that - good to know she wasn't perfect! However having just looked at her vast book list I'm going to add her to my reading list. It is sad to think fans will never be able to experience the thrill of reading a new book by her but at least they can still enjoy the legacy she has left.Lynne Garnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05697330164705623835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7780182174577095197.post-63702630333739538102011-03-29T14:34:13.311+01:002011-03-29T14:34:13.311+01:00Thanks Celia....I agree with what you say. I never met Diana W-J but did meet Liz Taylor (that famous production of Dr. Faustus in Oxford in the Sixties!) and can report that Richard Burton used to call her DUMPY as a nickname. She was extremely beautiful, but had reassuringly SHORT legs. Hence, I guess, the name....adelehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15826710558292792068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7780182174577095197.post-5408530694528934102011-03-29T13:23:18.849+01:002011-03-29T13:23:18.849+01:00Great post, great women.
