And I love your idea of typing out your notebooks and cutting them up into pieces! I shall try that - although I doubt it will help me arrive at a finished plot. Perhaps a poem. I often know what is going to happen in the end but the journey to get there is what keeps me writing.

C.J. I don't have a have "box file of plotting diagrams hidden in the cupboard." and I have no idea if I have a plotting mechanism hiding in my subconscious... but I have tried plotting it all out beforehand and I just can't make it work for me.

Thanks for sharing, Liz.Linda Strachanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04354324158228109351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7780182174577095197.post-89800263269815110082012-10-04T18:29:23.989+01:002012-10-04T18:29:23.989+01:00Thanks for the kind comments. I can't work out whether some people really do do this, or whether they just don't want to admit that they have a box file of plotting diagrams hidden in the cupboard... Or maybe some people have their plotting faculty buried deep in their subconscious, and it guides them through without them realising it? Anyway - always interesting to hear how other people do it, so thanks!C.J.Busbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12288574235370421625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7780182174577095197.post-29349090081064136522012-10-04T13:51:56.216+01:002012-10-04T13:51:56.216+01:00This comment has been removed by the author.C.J.Busbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12288574235370421625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7780182174577095197.post-65835256533256017632012-10-04T13:29:15.930+01:002012-10-04T13:29:15.930+01:00Fascinating to see the bread-and-butter (or glue-a...Fascinating to see the bread-and-butter (or glue-and-paper) technique of your plotting laid bare, Liz.
